TALKING STONE: INSIDE LOOK INTO GREEK STORYTELLING
This exhibit explores the stories and legends of Greece through visual storytelling. The pottery statues, as well as a funerary steely, were used to show the lives and cultures of both the simple and fictitious people of Greece. This inspiration for this exhibit comes from my team’s deep love of stories such as the twelve trials of Hercules, Jason and the argonauts, the tale of Circe written by Madeline Miller, and the odyssey retold by homer. Finally, this collection of priceless artifacts dates back as far as the archaic period of Greece (750-500 BCE).
